What To Expect:
We start by going over the reason that got you through the door and briefly explore your medical history as well as environmental factors that might contribute to the symptoms you are experiencing. The goal of this assessment is to identify the root of your symptoms and design a plan of care that addresses them head on. Once we are both comfortable with the diagnosis, we start a 45-60 min treatment that will involve one or a combination of the therapeutic methods available.
A follow-up session (and any after that) lasts between 45 to 60 min and is designed to take stock: are you feeling better? Are you sleeping better? Do you have a bit more energy? Once we get clarity on what worked, we build on the results of the first session and continue the treatment, if and as required. The ultimate goal of acupuncture is to facilitate the self healing process.
